Official Tour of Missouri VIP Ride in St. Charles
Registration for the Official Tour of Missouri VIP Ride will be 7:00 – 8:30 am in St. Charles. Riders and their bicycles will be shuttled to the ride start in Augusta. Participation in the VIP ride is limited to 200 riders. The cost is $250 which includes riding part of the race course route, brunch, logo hat and shirt, reserved seating to watch the race finish and a ticket to the St. Louis Wrap Up party to mingle with the racers. Proceeds will be split between Trailnet and the Governors Council on Physical Fitness.
Official Bike Tour Operator
Big Shark Bicycle Company is the Official Bike Tour Operator for the 2007 Tour of Missouri. In collaboration with Medalist Sports and race organizers, Big Shark Bicycle Company has created a bicycle tour of the Tour- with special privileges that allow cycling enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy beautiful Missouri roads, sample each of the 9 host cities, and witness the excitement of the race first hand, hassle-free and with inside-access.
Tour of Missouri Breakaway Club (Podium and Peloton Levels)
As cycling enthusiasts, you should be very excited about the upcoming Tour of Missouri 2007 professional bike race being held September 11-16. As the Competition Director for the Tour of Missouri, as well as a native Missourian, I want to do all that I can to ensure the success of this endeavor. During my career as a professional cyclist I competed in the premier cycling events, which included racing in the Tour de France six times for the U.S. Postal Team and other top professional teams. I’ve spent years around bike racing and I know that Missouri will be the perfect venue to bring the top cyclists in the world to the state.
